LeviLaunchroid for Minecraft Bedrock on Android
How to identify the official LeviLaunchroid Android project, import a legitimately owned Minecraft APK and keep versions, worlds and packs isolated.
LeviLaunchroid is the repository name for the LiteLDev Android launcher whose interface is called LeviLauncher. It targets legitimate Minecraft Bedrock players on ARM64 Android devices, can import an official APK and can maintain separated game versions. It is not the Windows GDK launcher with the similar LeviLauncher name.
What the Android launcher does
LeviLaunchroid can import an official Minecraft APK and run it in a managed environment without installing every imported game version system-wide. It provides version isolation, Xbox account switching and tools for worlds and resource packs.
The project also supports external native SO modules. Modules execute code inside the game process, so they should be treated as software, not harmless resource packs. Only use modules from developers you trust and check compatibility before loading them.
Device and license requirements
The upstream repository lists Android 9.0 or newer and ARM64 v8a as its baseline. Storage and available memory must cover both the launcher and each managed Minecraft installation.
The project requires Minecraft Bedrock Edition purchased from Google Play. APK import is a way to use your legitimate game files in the launcher, not permission to download or share paid APKs from third-party sites.
-
Confirm the device architecture
Use an ARM64 Android device that meets the operating system requirement stated by the project.
-
Install the official game
Get Minecraft from Google Play with the account that owns it and start it once.
-
Make a world backup
Export important worlds and packs before testing any alternate version workflow.
Install from the upstream release
The authoritative project location is github.com/LiteLDev/LeviLaunchroid. Its Releases page publishes the launcher APK and keeps issues, source and licensing information connected to the same project.
Android may ask you to allow installations from the browser or file manager used to open the APK. Grant that permission only for the installation, then review or remove it afterward. Avoid APK aggregators, modified builds and links that promise the paid game.
Import and isolate Minecraft versions
Import only an APK obtained through your own legitimate installation path. Use a separate managed entry for experiments so configuration and data from one version do not overwrite another.
Version isolation makes comparison and testing easier, but it cannot guarantee that every world is backward compatible. Do not open a valuable world in an older game build without a recoverable copy.
-
Create a managed entry
Give the imported build a clear name that identifies its purpose.
-
Keep data separated
Use isolation for test versions, modules and experimental resource packs.
-
Test with disposable content
Verify launch, sign-in and storage behavior before opening an important world.
Know which Levi project you need
LeviLaunchroid is the Android repository and uses the Google Play Bedrock app. LeviLauncher for Windows uses Bedrock GDK, Microsoft Store services and a desktop installer.
A page that mixes the Android APK with Windows Gaming Services instructions is mixing two products. Always match the repository, operating system and Minecraft distribution before following a guide.
Questions
Can LeviLaunchroid provide the Minecraft APK?
No. You must own Minecraft Bedrock from Google Play and use game files obtained through your legitimate installation.
Does LeviLaunchroid work on every Android device?
No. The upstream project targets Android 9.0 or newer on ARM64 v8a devices. Hardware and vendor restrictions can still affect compatibility.
Is LeviLaunchroid the same program as LeviLauncher for Windows?
No. They are separate LiteLDev repositories for different operating systems and different Bedrock distribution formats.
