Launcher data
Your community display name, folders, worlds, Java path and Minecraft output remain on the Windows profile and are never included in launcher diagnostics.
- Local settings JSON
- Local game and Java files
- Local activity output
- No account credentials
Optional anonymous diagnostics
On first launch, you can accept or decline anonymous diagnostics and change the choice later. If accepted, the launcher sends a random installation ID, a random session ID, launcher version, Windows 10 or 11, architecture, heartbeats and filtered operation or error codes. The server stores a one-way hash of the random IDs and does not store the request IP in the diagnostics database.
- Consent is optional
- No player or computer name
- No local paths or worlds
- No Minecraft console output
Website logs
The hosting provider may record IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent and response status for security and reliability. Operational logs should be retained only as long as needed.
Advertising and consent
The website loads Google AdSense. Google may process request and device information and, subject to location and consent choices, use cookies or local storage for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. A Google-certified consent platform must handle choices where required.
External services
Minecraft files come from endpoints identified through official game metadata. Google advertising and external documentation links are governed by their respective privacy policies.
