Service scope
We provide an independent website, Windows launcher installer, version-management tools and editorial guides. The launcher software is not the Minecraft game and does not include a full-game entitlement.
Age and family use
If you are not old enough to accept online terms where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them for you. Guardians should supervise downloads, mods and external links.
Game license and third-party terms
Mojang and Microsoft own Minecraft and their services. A valid Minecraft: Java Edition license is required for the complete game. Your use of official game files and services remains subject to their terms.
Acceptable use
Do not use the website or launcher to distribute malware, bypass access controls, infringe intellectual property, attack services, misrepresent affiliation or interfere with other users.
Downloads and updates
Use the canonical download page and verify the published checksum. Beta software can change, contain defects or require an update. We may withdraw a build when a security or compatibility issue is found.
No warranty
The service is provided as available, to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every historical version, mod or computer, or preservation of world data.
Liability and backups
To the extent permitted by law, the project team is not liable for indirect loss, lost worlds, lost profits or third-party service failures. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited. Back up important worlds.
Changes and contact
Material changes will update the effective date. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@minecraft.co.com.
